Meet Your Servant Leader ~ Markisha

Markisha Nance is an ordinary woman with an extraordinary God who called her to do great things for Him.

Markisha has served in church ministry through formal and informal roles for over 20 years. She has experience teaching Sunday school, spearheading church events and projects, leading church ministries, facilitating women’s retreat seminars and leading community workshops.

God prepared Markisha for ministry work by leading her to become a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. As a social worker, she has helped people to become their best over the past 16 years. She has worked with children, families, adults and the geriatric population. She holds a Masters of Arts in Social Work from the University of Chicago, a Masters of Business Administration and a Masters of Arts in Leadership from Grand Canyon University.

The divinely knitted ministry and professional experience in leadership, training and development, advocacy and therapy/counseling helps Markisha to serve, love and minister to those in need. Markisha considers it an honor to serve those she comes in contact with and is looking forward to meeting you.
